Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

Unfortunately, it's absolutely unusable with non-default fonts. :(

I think that 99% of websites use standard web fonts. But it should be fine with non-standard fonts. The only bug I can find is that tabbing in IE7 is not perfect.

Which font did you want to use?

@Stu I think that was DejaVu font (it is standart, but in Ubuntu linux) with a little increased size.

Stu:-
If the font is larger than verdana then you may need to reduce the left/right padding of the links to keep it all on one line. Or increase the overall width of the menu.
See the next menu in this series.

I really like the menu. No conditional comments for IE support is a real winner. Thanks.

Have you thought about a version that keeps the dropline visible with highlighting the top and drop menu items for the current page?

I played around a bit trying to achieve that with only partial success.

I have noticed that if you click on one of the sub links & then go back to the menu via the back button it doesn't hide the sub menu's & just places them over the top of each other?

John:-
I've also noticed if you click on a main header link & then try to hover over 1 of the sub links they disappear?

Very cool design though.
