Doing it with style

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}

A small change but it does make a difference.

Your menus website is great... as all your sites are. Thanks those examples will give me more of a different look for my layouts. I love looking and figuring out code and yours all make sense once I look at it closer. Thanks again Stu... CSS is very powerful and is a shame that people still revert back to tables when tables are not needed just some 'good old CSS'... TTFN... Andrea

WOW! I'm a fairly new web developer and I think it is AMAZING what you are offering here. The answers to so many things. It's hard to believe one person could present so much content. Thank you very much! Nice to see someone a little long in the tooth (such as myself) putting so much effort in a "young" persons world. The passion shown here motivates me to embrace and explore my own passions. Thanks again for all this terrific work!

Right on, Stu. CSSPlay is a great resource. You have really done a fantastic job. Who is that girl in the striped dress? Wow! Gorgeous!

Hi Stu. I'm using your any width drop down menu and it appears to be moving all over the place when navigation around the site. It's currently on this site:

I'm using Firefox/PC and also does it on Firefox/Mac.

You have altered the stylesheet. With your menu you do not need the top level centering so just give it a fixed width (809px).
