Circular hot-spots COMMENTS

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}

This is just plain stupid. 100 lines of CSS + 100 lines of useless HTML to achieve something that is available in an HTML tag... stop this "valid CSS" crazyness!!

Besides that, links mapped to an image are not something that should be standard, use flash/svg/silverlight for graphical features.

Great stuff!!
Thanks, really liked to get through your site. Though it cost me too much of my time. Haha!

Amazing, but a lot of work. Would this be achievable by an absolute positioning of a transparent text letter 'â¢' of proper font size overlaying the marbles, using transparency or alpha (opacity=0)? That would involve much less code.

ok, works as proof-of-concept, but area shape=circle, coords=x,y,r do the same stuff. one line. 37 seconds typing.

this is just a very nice white elephant..
