This menu is great like all of Stu's menus, etc., but this one has a problem, hopefully that will get fixed.

If you put a dark-colored box just below the menu bar, you will see there are 'CLOSE' links displaying just below the menu bar with the down arrow .gif image--one for each of the droplist links--all in white, which is why they are not obvious.

You can see this immediately by placing the mouse cursor just below the drop list links on the bar on Stu's page for this menu. The cursor will change from from the I-beam to the pointed finger. The results are the same in IE and Firefox.

Sometimes only 3 CLOSE's appear and if you click on them, that link may close and another one will open. And they can change color from white to orange or red if you preview a white link with Kool Preview in Firefox. But they do make the menu unusable right now.

Thanks Stu for looking into this and all the great stuff you do! I already use one of your menus and am thinking about changing to this one.

Hi Stu, thanks for fixing that item. One more thing maybe you can look at:

When you click on a dropdown list item, and the selection keeps you on the same page because it uses ajax (or an iframe link) to merely change the contents in a box, the CLOSE link goes away on the click with the dropdown list still open. This is illustrated on your page for this menu with the links going nowhere. The menu will close if you click off of it. But on the iPad, you got to open another dropdown menu, which may be confusing to someone. Is there any way to keep the CLOSE link there all the time that the dropdown list is open?

Thank you very much!

Great menu, but I found it didn't work with the Kindle Fire. A whole lot of my customers seem to have them, so I had to find a different solution - which I did: The "drop everything" panel. Thanks for this treasure trove of menus!
