Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

I am using this drop down on my website and having some issues. The layout I am using requires IE6 to be in quirks mode and I have this statement on my first line:
<!-- Put IE into quirks mode -->

When I do this it cause the dropdown to not work in IE7. When I remove the line the dropdown works but the site is broken in IE6. Is there an alternate to putting IE6 into quirks mode that will not affect IE7.

I saw this on your homepage
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
But when I try it I get an error, mt pages are all PHP. Do you have any suggestions?

Jason, as you are using php then the <?mxml is treated as php and generates an error.
echo '<\?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"\?>';

Stu, all that seems to do is put <\?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"\?> at the top of my page. I'm not a PHP wiz so I have no idea where to go with this.

Hi Bash, if you know anything about (x)html and CSS then you will know that the 'code' is all to be found by looking at the page source code. The FAQs show where the information can be found.
CSS play is a CSS experimental site and does not offer downloads as such, but you can learn how it all works by examining the source code and playing with the stylesheet.

David Andes:-
Quick question: What purpose does the -1px margin serve in the #menu table selector?
