Float Drop CSSM120610 comments

Welcome to my comments pages - POST A COMMENT

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

problems with CSSM120610

1. Items (with drop down marker) shift up

a. highlight "accessories" in main menu and submenu appears, highlight "flashguns" and its submenu appears. Move back to "accessories" and the "flashgun" item disappears.

b. under "Equipment", highlight "accessories" and "Cameras" is shifted up to cover "equipment" leaving a gap. hightlighting all "drop-downs" shifts-up the one above it creating a cap.

c. same but, under Outlets, highlighting "general", shifts the dropdown "stocklist" up covering "photographers"

2. Menu lists stay visible too long

a. click "accessories" making submenu visible, then move mouse over "Outlets" making its submenu visible. The menu for accessories continues to stay visible. Its the click on the main drop-down that does it.

Which browser?

Stu:-
Tested again in all the latest browser version and including IE6 on a PC and it works correctly.
The click to keep a menu open is a feature if required (and required for tabbing). Otherwise you link all levels to other pages so a click will load another page and the menu will be closed.
