Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

Hello Mr. Nicholls,
unfortunately the second ('click') version of your wonderful menu does not work with Safari 2.3.2 (running on Win). The menu items become visible for a blink when hovering the menu head - that was it ... Any idea ? Best regards, CB

Hi there,
it's me again ...of course it was Safari 3.2.3 (typo in my first posting) - and I guess the problem is caused by the Safari- overflow:hidden -bug(?).

Hi CB, I do state that the second version does not work in Safari. The reason is in the way Safari handles mouse clicks and the :active :focus states in CSS. It only registers these states while the mouse button is held down, unlike other browsers that keep the state until another mouse click is made.
