Pro any width flyout COMMENTS

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

John M:-
I am using the standalone IE6 (IE6Eolas) and this and other menus do not appear to work. Thoughts?

Stu:-
It is a well documented fact that IE6 standalone has a major problem when it is installed on a PC running later versions of IE.
If this is the case then IE6 standalone thinks that it is the later version when it comes to conditional comments. So it does not see the IE6 version of the code and so does not work.

This information is also in the the site FAQs.

Mark Stewart:-
Hi Stu, Mark here (riverleaf). This would look way kool with active hoverlinks and active flyout links set like this.

a:active, a:hover {backgound image:redopacity.5.png; color:yellow; fontweight:bold}

Also, each flyout can li li {top:0;}

And each ul can {top:0;}

Just a thought to tease that flyline-dropline concept we've been hashing.

Stu:-
An :active link would mean that it has been clicked and this would take you to that page where the link would no longer be :active.
