Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}

I think you should use background-position replacement in the top tabs to avoid flickering of the image. ;-)

Mariusz, my preference is to use the li tags to hold the hover state and make the links transparent on hover, this way there is no shifting of background images and no problem with Safari. I have changed the styling to show how this is done, and also a small restyle to hold the top level tab hovered state when moving to the drop down list in Firefox etc.

This drop down does not work in Opera 8.51 and the drop down menu width gets cut off in Netscape 7.2.

I have a problem with this menu,

When i click on a tab, it shifts everything to the right making it look very odd, does not reset itself.

If you could chat please add me on msn brain_overload[at]
