Looks beautiful in IE8 & FF 3.x -- but in IE7 the drop-downs show only a single column with the columns overlayed.

Environment-- IE 7.0.5730.13, Windows XP pro

Seems it doesn't go well with nonstandard fonts.

This is because the font is making the top level too wide and it is wrapping on to two lines.
Any change of font will need to have the top level padding adjusted to fit.

Hi Stu, my boss has purchased this layout for our companies website but we are having problems with the drop downs showing up in IE. It works fine in Firefox and Webkit browsers, do you any idea how I could get it working?

You will ned to use a standards compliant doctype as the first line of your code.
My home page gives a link to the website which lists the options.
