Doing it with style

Revised left flyout menu COMMENTS

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

Most excellent, Stu! Mac experiences in Safari 2.0.4, FireFox 1.5.0.6, Netscape 7.2 and Opera 9 (beta) are all right on it!; as mentioned IE 5.2 fails (but who would be surprised by this?)

Stu - really good stuff here! Do you have a menu that produces a two dimensional drop down (kind of like the quicklinks drop down on www.microsoft.com)?

Thank you. I like your ideas alot.
Is there a pure CSS way to render this menu for IE6, without having to embed the table elements into the html? What exactly does the table do?

Craig Judkins:-
I'm trying to edit this so it only has two levels and I'm having all kinds of trouble with IE6. Can someone please post what HTML is needed for this? I've tried to remove the bottom two levels, which seems straightforward enough, but it doesn't seem to work.

HI Stu - I'm being stupid I'm sure but how do I transport this flyout menu to a clean page - there's no download button (I think) and if I copy from view source there is a lot of style refs and content I don't think I need.
