Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

But i'm haveing some problem, cause i want to add active state (on click dlmenu it should be hover state) and can't get rid of it... Could you give me some tip please?

Like the rest of your stuff, this is a neat sliding menu! I would like to use it on my site and will be happy to make a donation to do so. Problem... in testing it in my layout, I can't get it positioned within the column. Can you shed some light? You'll find the page at

Thanks for your help.

Figured it out! The column container was set to max-width of 35%. Removing it altogether brought the menu right into the column where I want it. Now it's just a question of permission. Sorry for the bother.

Thank you so much for all of your non-stop envelope pushing. Your site is a regular stop while I surf.

I think this is a wonderful menu. I'd like to use it for photo categories and sub-albums. Is there any way at all to have the menu remain open and the <dd> selected as "current" (i.e., keep its hover state) and still move the mouse off the menu to view the gallery in another <div>?

I would love to use this menu,, and I have no problem with donating, but I can't figure out how to get the code?

Johnny, just check the FAQs. All you need is the page source code and use whatever background image you want.

I have one question.
I'm curious how this work.
I have seen other sliding menu's but they all use javascript and this script not.

Roelof, it is the magic of CSSplay :)
None of the menus or demos use javascript in any form. It is all JUST CSS.

Hello, a very nice sliding menu.
Can you post some example/demos page whereby i can keep the menu visited open when i click on specific submenu page?
The copyright will be placed on the page i am developing. Thank you.
