Doing it with style

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}

Uwe Karasek:-
Hi Stu!
I am just studying your diary (graphic version), & wonder what tools you used - certainly not just a text editor?
Would you like to give a hint to someone just entering the CSS scence?!

Hi Uwe.
The graphics for the diary were all produced using an old version of Macromedia Fireworks (v3) which I use for all my work. I find this easier to work with than Photoshop.

Depends on the browser and font size;)
I reckon he might be taking his hat off when he gets bigger.

THE Most creative & inspiring CSS site I've been too. Eric may take it to Edge and I dig him but you've jumped over the edge in a hang glider! Everything works in Safari except the snowman and scrolling gallery (the first 4 thumbs work - the rest scroll off the page with the scroller.) You've answered so many questions with a yes. Now I just need to do some more examining. Cheers from the US!

Thanks Jeff, I appreciate this and I think you have just given me another layout idea ;o)
