Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

Does anyone have an example of this working? I like it but can't figure out what it should look like.

I was having some difficulty implementing this - it looks good, but the current=one, current=two, current=three, etc, I get a bit confused.

When I click a tab, it doesnt select the tab, as it doesnt visit the current=XXX page.

If anyone has any advice about where I could go to learn a solution, it would be much appreciated.

it doesn't look like this menu works in Safari... looks like a z-index problem, almost like it doesn't even apply the z-index. I'm stumped on how to fix this, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same problem - cant get the tabs to change on reload... I dont understand how it gets the querystring information to change the tab... Love how it works on the demo though...

Stu:-
This menu and the previous ones use PHP to read the query string in the link and reload the same page, changing the current class to the one you clicked. This just saves me having to generate pages for all the links and hard code the current class into each list item.
You could also use the alistapart method of adding an id to the body tag and a class to the list items so that the css can be styled to tie the two together.
