hidden tab COMMENTS

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

mllsoccerdude:-
Works fine for me in FireFox, but the menu does no show when I hover over the tab (a blank box appears in place of the menu) when I use IE7 Beta 2 on Windows XP.

Stu:-
mllsoccerdude, I read somewhere that IE7 beta 2 has a problem with conditional comments. Hopefully this will function correctly in the final version.

DeadMeatGF:-
My IE7b2 works fine - except for a tiny glitch - the right margin on the expanded menu. It's missing to start with, appears as you move down the list, and disappears as you move back up!
It's a nice effect, but I guess not an intentional one!

Tyrant505:-
Do you think you could manipulate this tab to be on the right, like ask.com does? Their Toggle button is useful too!

Stu:-
Tyrant505, it is possible to put this on the right. However, the toggle button requires a click to work and a click to select a menu but with css you cannot have two consecutive clicks, only hover/click or click/hover.

You misspelled "menu"! :P

This is a great replacement for js. However you seem to have a class 'drop' that I don't see represented anywhere in your style sheets. Have I missed something?
(20.10.2006, 23:06)

Stu:-
blueskyday, this was a leftover from a previous menu and has now been removed. If I were to do this again I would combine the two css files into one as on my latest menus.

Sally:-
I'm having trouble getting it to work on firefox or IE. There is no tab lol. The tab is actually hidden and I was wondering if there was a step I missed.
two files, one called hidden.css and one called hidden_ie.css, and then the xhmtl copy pasted with the links modified to match my sites. Am I missing a step?
Thanks Stu. This is an awesome site, keep up the great work!
