Hi, again -
Now that the browser issue is fixed (I think - it may still need fixing in earlier IEs, I have to check) -
2 more questions:
1) Is there a way to make the image not clickable?
2) In the larger (rolled-over) image, is there a way to add information that's not in the smaller (non-rolled-over) image ?
(like on iStock's site )

? again - thanks...

Hello Stu!

This is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I have been looking for to get my club webpage gallery up and running. However, as a novice I do have a question. Is there a way to incorporate all the aspects of the gallery but into a content wrapper so that the gallery would appear in the center of the page with the right and left content found on all the other pages, instead of being the whole page?

www.humboldt.edu/~conserve if you'd like to take a look.

Hi,

Great site. Just wanted to point out that this page doesn't validate against the HTML (W3C)

but loving the work

Jon, now fixed, thanks.

Hi:

Is there a way to show more than 4 pictures in a row?.

Stu:-
Miguel, there is always a way, but it would mean a restyling of the layout.

Dear Stu,

Firstly I'd like to echo what others have stated in that I apprechiate the time you've taken in putting together this terrific site of yours.

Also like most people here I am just starting off in web design and have used your gallery in designing an artists site. It works fine in firefox and safari however in IE7 it goes all pig ugly, with two colums and no hover effect. Hopefully it's something quite straight forward.

The site url is www.creationsbydroog.com/gallery.html

Also as a warning to anyone reading this thinking of looking at the site be advised it contains some mildly explicit material

Stu:-
Seanan, you need to make you doctype the 'full' standards compliant version for this to work in IE7. See my home page for information.
Also you should be aware that for commercial use a donation is required to support CSSplay.

I am very impressed with this gallery. I have cut it down to two tabbed pages but would like to be able to have viewers click on either tab and make that the active gallery till they click the other tab. Is this a doable process for someone very new to html?
Thank You

Stu:-
Jim, not possible without using javascript. See my other site stunicholls.com for this version.
