min width COMMENTS

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

i used your min-width css on an expandable site i'm developing. but the position:relatives have run havok on my menu. i've tried floating the menu, diplay:inline, position:everything! it works fine on the Mac, but the PC likes to send the dropdown menus into reverse order - yes, PC, not just IE. could you check out the menu on eteach.tecmasters.com/eInstitute/index.html?

do you have a similar example for max-width for IE?

btw thank you so much for min-width for IE. I had been working for about 2-3 days straight minimal sleep, nothing was working until i found your min-width! thanks agian. I've been trying to use the 'idea' of your technique, but can't come up with anything.

dan, I did try max-width but couldn't find any suitable method. IE7 now fixes this. Javascript has an answer but this site is pure CSS with no javascript allowed in ANY demonstration.

I've been searching without luck for a method to make minimum-width work in IE6 and 7. I tried the css method you developed in 2005 but it doesn't seem to work in IE7. Can you give any advice on this?
