shadow text COMMENTS

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

Nice effect. There's a way to make it verticaly? I'm trying it but with no results. Either the shadow goes to the upper left corner or just below the text.

Hi Stu -
So is there a way to make this play nice in IE7? Even if it means IE7 users see "plain text" it's better than the mess they see now.
I LOVE the way this looks, but simply can't use it if it can't have at least a passable appearance in all browsers....
Your response is appreciated =

Just a thought simply use

h1.split {font-size:2.5em; position:absolute; font-family:arial, verdana, sans-serif; height:1em;}
h1.split span {position:absolute; left:-1px; top:-1px; color:#def;}

burn this part content:attr(title)

Seems happy in IE7
