CSS DEMOSCSS3 - The future now - 3D Rotating Billboard

Date : 1st March 2011

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

Absolutely NO javascript.

Continuing with demonstrations using 3D perspective, this one uses triangular rotating sections to display three images on a 'billboard'.

This is an auto-run demonstration and can only be seen in Safari at the moment. Why Chrome is not keeping up with Safari I do not know.

It will be great once all browsers start supporting this latest feature of CSS.

More perspective demos to come....

7th March 2012

Now that Firefox supports CSS3 3D transforms I have updated this demo to include this browser.

6th February 2013

Restyled to remove the preserve-3d style and use alternative styling so that it works in IE10.

Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.

  1. If you are using this on a personal web site then please retain the copyright comment in the stylesheet.
A support donation is now required for this demonstration.

  3. If you are having problems integrating any of my demonstrations into your website then I now offer a service to fault find and correct any errors that you may have introduced. Please email me for more information.

Your donations keep CSS PLAY running.
