Now that we have a working solution to the Safari and Chrome general sibling selector with :focus AND the the ability to have Safari and Chrome retain a :focus state when the mouse button is released we can modify the previous demonstration to work with mouse clicks so that the action of the carousel is more controlled and it will work with Firefox 3.x.
Just click the images to see them enlarge to twice size and rotate to the center of the window. Clicking the smaller images to the left will rotate the carousel to the right, and clicking the smaller images to the right will rotate the carousel to the left.
The animation is only for Safari, Chrome, Opera and Firefox v4 beta at the moment. Safari has the smoothest animations followed closely by Chrome, with Opera have problems with the shadows and Firefox v4 beta a little jerky.
Now working in IE10+
Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.
