Hover the above image grid to see the thumbnails expand to full size.
IE will see an instant jump in the size of the images, but all other browsers will see these animate to their new sizes. Hopefully IE10 will also see the animation when it is finally released.
Version #1 uses a table for the grid and works in IE7 and version #2 uses the css version display:table, display:table-row and display:table-cell which is not supported by IE7.
