Information

This is the previous gallery brought up to date with the latest CSS play technique to allow the selected thumbnails and large images to stay selected when clicking elsewhere on the page and also when returning to the page.

This does not use :target so there is no problem with the browser 'back' button. It also does not use iframes, object or any programmimg language so will work even when javascript is turned off.

Click the left and right arrows to see the previous and next set of thumbnail images. Click any thumbnail image to see the large image.

So at last, a gallery with permanent image changes to rival those produced by javascript/jQuery and all done with simple html and css.

This even works in IE9 (without the animation), but amazingly is buggy in Chrome, but ok in Safari.
