CSS DEMOSCSS3 - 3D Animated Truncated Icosahedron

Date : 14th March 2012

For Firefox, Safari and Chrome

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

Information

Enough of rotating 3D cubes using CSS3 3D transforms, this is a 3D truncated icosahedron with no images.

No, I didn't know what this was until I looked around to see if it was possible to produce a complex shape using just 3D transforms, and this was one of the shapes that I found.

Displays correctly in Safari, and Firefox has a good go at it though it does require a change to the stylesheet because of the way it handles some positioning, but Chrome explodes this in the Z direction.

7th January 2013 - Now fixed for Chrome and Firefox. Safari gets it wrong.
