Doing it with style

CSS DEMOSCross browser tabbed pages with embedded links version 2

Date : 18th February 2009

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

NO javascript - just CSS - and it validates

For those of you who have asked for the previous version but with a default tab open on page entry, then this is one way to do it.

Just add a current or selected id to the reqired page and then style this with the same styling as the :hover. I have made the border color darker so that when hovering over the other tabs it does not get confused with a :hover tab.

Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.
