Information
I understand from your emails that a lot of you are trying to convert my previous gallery into a non-scrolling 'hover' only gallery that can handle images of any size.
Well this is one way of doing it, and it's about as simple as you can get. As with my previous example the thumbnails are just full size images reduced to 50px x 50px using CSS. The hover then places the full size image to the left of the thumbnails.
Tested IE6, IE7, Firefox and Opera.
All the photographs in this slideshow have been purchased from dreamstime for use on CSS play. These are copyright the various photographers and should not be copied without their permission.

You may use this method on your personal 'non-profit' web site without seeking my permission. A link back to CSSplay is always appreciated.
Commercial usage is also permitted without seeking approval, but I would ask that a donation is considered to support my work on CSSPlay.
If you are having problems integrating any of my demonstrations into your website then I now offer a service to fault find and correct any errors that you may have introduced. Please email me for more information.
