A CSS drop shadow

Pre 2006

Information

Just an example of a drop shadow applied to a div without using graphics.

This is achieved by using a set of three nested divs for the graduated shadow effect and a final 'nested' div for the text. This final div is as large as the first shadow div and covers the top left of the drop shadows. The square cut-out div is just for effect.

With CSS3 box shadow styles this is more or less redundant.
