Information
It has been a little while since my last image map demonstration, so I thought that I would investigate this again using the latest techniques from some of my other demonstrations.
So here we have an image map that will pop up speech bubbles of various sizes with pointers on all four side.
The speech bubbles also contain a short piece of text and links to further information on the web.
This method can also be used as for standard image map with pop up text, or as a website navigation menu.
Tested in IE5.5, IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari and Chrome.
21st Ocober 2007
Revised to correct the IE6 bug where overlapping areas would not appear 'on top' of all other areas.
