...and another menu where the dropdown lists are as wide as required to fit the content without having to specify the width.
With a little lateral thinking I have now found a way to have the anywidth dropdown lists centered beneath the top level links. The only thing to watch with this method is that there is an invisible overrun to the right of each dropdown where the menu will stay open.
This menu has been tested and works in IE5.5, IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari(PC) and Google Chrome.
