Menu version 1 - using images for text

Menu version 2 - using text

A slideout single level menu that works in all browsers including IE6 and IE7, but has css3 animation for those browsers that support these styles (Safari, Chrome and Opera at the moment).

Just hover the 'Navigation' tab to slide the menu bar from the left edge, then hover the menu items to see the icons slide into view from the right of each menu section.

The menu bar is a single background image and each link has the icon held as a background image in the <i> element.

Tested in IE6, IE7, IE7 emulation, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, Avant and SeaMonkey.

15th October 2013

The second version added using the latest CSS3 styles, removing the background images and replacing with text.
