CSS play - A CSS ONLY 'responsive' droplist menu.

13th August 2014

For all the latest browsers and operating systems, touch screens, tablets and smartphones
(including IE9+)

Just click/tap the three bar icon at the top right of this page

This menu is suitable for all the latest browsers and operating systems and can be used on touch screens, tablets and smartphones as well as PCs and Macs.

It has a slide in/out action when clicking/tapping the three bar icon at the top right of the screen.

The menu has a fixed position and if the the menu structure is taller than the screen height then it can be scrolled to see all the entries.

The sub menus are opened and closed by clicking/tapping the parent level items, and have a slide down/up action all done using just CSS.

Because this page is not responsive I have fixed the device width to 1.0 so that you will need to scroll around the page on tablets and smartphones, but the menu open/close icon will still be at the top right of the screen. On a responsive page the page content will adjsut its size on these devices.
