Doing it with style

CSS MENUSCSSplay Revolver

Date : 4th December 2011

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

The original first menu in this section was based on the :visited pseudo-class to style a menu to show which pages had been visited, but because modern browsers no longer support this I have replaced the menu with this up to date CSS3 animated menu.

The code used for this menu is just a simple unordered list with no extra markup and uses :before and :after pseudo-elements to generate the two states of the menu.

The animation is seen in Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. IE8 and IE9 will see and instant change of state, but hopefully IE10 will see the animation.

Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.
