Doing it with style

CSS MENUSAnywidth dropdown/flyout menu

Date : 30th October 2012

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

For IE7+, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, SeaMonkey, Avant, Flock, iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch

The previous menu has a bug in IE7 where the sub menu background color sometimes does not disappear when the sub menu closes, so this menu fixes the problem.

It also uses a new method of closing an open sub menu when using the Safari Mobile Browser on the iPad, iPad mini, iPhone and iPod Touch. The first menus in this iPad series use a 'close' button and the previous menu uses a transparent gif image that stretches across the whole screen when the menu is used, but this menu uses an overall page wrapping div with an onclick="void(0)" to register finger 'taps', so that tapping anywhere outside of the menu will close any open sub menus.
