Definition list button menu - NO hacks, NO conditional comments, NO tables and NO javascript.

14th December 2009

A little bit of extra styling but still only fourteen lines in the stylesheet and no images.

Photographers control the camera and lens to "expose" the light recording material (such as film) to the required amount of light to form a "latent image" (on film) or "raw file" (in digital cameras) which, after appropriate processing, is converted to a usable image. Digital cameras use an electronic image sensor based on light-sensitive electronics such as charge-coupled device (CCD) or complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) technology. The resulting digital image is stored electronically, but can be reproduced on paper or film.

Information

Basically the same as the previous menu, but with a little extra styling to give the button effect and the highlight on hover. Again, this uses only simple html and css with no javascript, no browser hacks, no conditional comments and no tables.

The menu can be tabbed to access all the links including the dropdowns.

Tested and working in IE5.5 (yes it does), IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari(PC) and Google Chrome. I have been told that this also works in Mac browsers though I cannot test this.
