CSS MENUSDrop and scroll menu

Date : 5th March 2007

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

This menu was produced in answer to a problem raised by William King, who wanted a dropdown menu with a scolling sub-list. I do have an example of a multi level dropdown with scroll but it is a little buggy in IE6.

So this is the outcome, which should work in IE5.x, IE6, IE7, Firefox and Opera. I have also added an 'overrun' area just in case anyone accidentally moves the mouse off the scrollbar.

There is a little extra styling for the scrollbars in IE which has been placed in an IE only stylesheet.

There are two images used in this menu.
