Information
Menu #1
In a similar way to my previous page of drop down examples , I will be adding flyout examples to this page over the coming weeks/months as time permits.
Menu #1 is just a flyout version of the previous horizontal menu #4.
The graphics have changed slightly but it is basically the same xhtml with flyout styling.
The styling has been very much simplified from previous flyout demonstrations, with the non-IE and IE style being combined into one style sheet which can be found here menu #1 css.
This works in IE5.5, IE6, IE7 as well as Firefox, Opera etc. and does NOT use javascript.
The images used, shown below, are held in the same directory as the css and are displayed as background images.

Menu #2
Back to the basic flyout menu.
This one uses no images and has identical width flyout sub-levels. The hover state changes the background color and the flyouts overlap the previous levels.
The colours have been chosen such that the hover background is identical to the flyout background to give a guide to where you are in the menu structure.
The css is about as simple as it could be and can be found here menu #2 css.
