The NEW variable width dropline menu system

21st July 2010

A dropline menu that can accommodate variable width text in the top level and submenu without javascript, conditional comments, hacks, htc files and tables, just html and css.
Tested in IE6, 7 & 8, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, SeaMonkey, Flock, Avant and Maxthon.
Tabbing is available in all browsers that support this feature.

No javascript, no conditional comments, no hacks, no tables, no expressions, just CSS and XHTML

On the way to producing the previous dropdown menu the dropdown links are all in one line which gives a perfectly acceptable dropline system.

Again this uses no hacks, no javascript, no conditional comments, no htc files, no tables etc etc, just html and css. It allows you to have links of any length in both the top level and subline links. It also allows you to tab through the menu in IE and Firefox.

Tested in IE6, IE7, IE7 emulation, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, Avant, SeaMonkey, Flock and Maxthon. It should also work in Mac browsers.
