CSS MENUSA CSS only flyout - for Safari Mobile Browser

Date : 19th January 2011

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

Continuing with the menus aimed at the Safari Mobile browser as used on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch this one is the flyout version.

As with the previous menus this one will stay open after tapping any of the top level links when using the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, so for these browsers I have added a 'close' icon which will appear to the left of any open branch of this menu. So tapping another top level link will close a currently open branch or you can tap the 'close' icon to close the currently open branch. This icon will not be visible on non-mobile browsers.

Tested and working in IE7+, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, Flock, SeaMonkey, iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
