CSS MENUSExperimental Menu #6 - Magic Menu series

Date : 17th August 2007

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

NOTE: Magic Menus #4 and #5 have been removed as these required too much javascript.

Just to show that it is possible to expand the other menus in this series I have revamped the previous menu, which required javascript, so that it now uses the same method as menu #3. This now uses just CSS, no conditional comments, no behaviors, no hidden .htc file and no javascript. The only downside is that it doesn't validate because of the use of the MS proprietary 'comment' tag. This tag is used purely for IE5.5 and IE6 to work.

Tested in IE5.5 (requires hacks for the faulty box model), IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera, Netscape, Mozilla and Safari (PC).

You may use this method on your personal 'non-profit' web site without seeking my permission.
A link back to CSS PLAY is always appreciated.

Commercial usage is also permitted without seeking approval, but I would ask that a donation is considered to support my work on CSS PLAY.

If you are having problems integrating any of my demonstrations into your website then I now offer a service to fault find and correct any errors that you may have introduced.
Please email me for more information.

Your donations keep CSS PLAY running.
If your donation is for the use of a demo then please email me with the demo url after making your donation.
