The CSS Play method of controlling a CSS ONLY slideshow using @container queries.
It is amazing what can be done using this method. I think that it is now possible to make any javascript slideshow using just CSS.
The slideshow images can be selected by click/tapping the thumbnail images and it will continue from that selected image.
The thumbnail images can be vertically scrolled using the mouse or swipe on touch screens.
