Just CSS. Absolutely NO jQuery/javascript or any other programming language.

Another update to a demonstration I produced on the 20th October 2012 using the latest styles available.

A simple game of Connect 4 for player v player.

The game always starts with a red disc.

Once a red disc is played the top row of discs changes to yellow, and once a yellow disc is played this changes back to red, and so on.

The CSS keeps track of discs played and will recognise a winning line, horizontal, vertical and diagonal.

Once a winning line is recognised the game will stop and the winner declared.

To play again just click/tap the 'Click for new game' button under the game and the played discs will slide back to the top row.

This is also responsive so that the game will ressize to suit all devices.
