CSS/jQuery at the moment but soon to be CSS only.

The following demonstration using CSS and jQuery shows how display:grid can soon be styled to remove vertical gaps between columns on different height images. This uses jquery.wookmark.js but will be converted to CSS only as soon as this is supported by all browsers.

A new style grid-template-rows:masonry will soon be available which will style the grid without the need for javascript/jQuery.

It is available at the moment (19th November 2023) on Firefox by enabling the 'layout.css.grid-template-masonry-value.enabled' flag in about:config.
